Drive to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust . The orphanage is open to the public for one hour, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, to witness the baby elephants' mud bath and feeding session. Here, we will learn about the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants.

After our unique experience, we will head to our lunch spot.

After lunch, we will proceed to the giraffe centre, home to the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. Here, you can get up close and personal with these gentle giants, feeding them from a raised platform and taking memorable photos.

Later we will return to the hotel in the afternoon. The evening is yours to relax, pack, plan or enjoy the hotel's amenities

Our early breakfast will be provided at the hotel. We will then be transferred to Wilson Airport (WIL) for our flight to the Masai Mara. Snacks will be available for your journey.

Enjoy a short, scenic flight over the Rift Valley. Upon landing at Keekorok Airstrip, we will be met by our new driver-guides.

We will then lead a game drive en route to Fig Tree Tented Camp. This is your first opportunity to see the vast plains of the Mara and the animals that inhabit it.

In the late morning we will arrive at Fig Tree Tented Camp, check-in, and enjoy a well-deserved lunch.

In the evening we will embark on our game drive in the Masai Mara. Our guides will search for spectacular wildlife or whatever the day may reward us with.

Later we will return to the camp for a delicious dinner.

Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari: For those who booked, an early morning wake-up call for an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Mara. You'll witness the sunrise and the vast plains from a unique perspective, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush upon landing.

For non-ballooners, our morning game drive will begin in the morning. Our guides will take us to different sections of the reserve to spot different wildlife. We will pick up the balloon safari participants few hours later after they land.

Lunch: We will return to the camp for lunch.

Head out for another game drive in the evening. Our guide will search for different animal, bird and plant species.

Dinner at the camp. You may also have a chance to listen to local Maasai stories or watch a cultural performance.

Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive, allowing you to explore more remote parts of the reserve, particularly areas closer to the Mara River.

The Masai Mara is famous for the Great Migration. Even outside of the river crossing season, the Mara River is a hub of activity. You will search for crocodiles and hippos in the river and explore the surrounding areas for leopards and lion prides.

We will have a memorable picnic lunch in the heart of the Mara wilderness, listening to the sounds of nature.

Return to the camp around late afternoon.

Take some time to relax before dinner. Dinner will be served at the camp, followed by a final evening of stargazing if the sky is clear.

Enjoy a final breakfast at Fig Tree Tented Camp. With our picnic lunch, we will be transferred to the airstrip for our flight to Nairobi.

The flight will take us back to Wilson Airport. Upon landing, we will be met by new drivers who will be our guides for the Amboseli portion of the trip.

The scenic drive to Amboseli National Park takes approximately 4-5 hours from Wilson Airport. We will pass through small towns and experience rural life in Kenya.

We will stop for our lunch somewhere along the way.

We will arrive at Kibo Safari Camp, located just outside Amboseli National Park, with a magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro. We will assist you to check in to your safari tent.

Today is dedicated to cultural immersion. We will visit a local Maasai village to learn and experience about their traditions, daily life, and customs. We will also have the opportunity to visit a local school and experience the impact of education to local rural societies. We will also have a discussion with the Maasai women, learning about their roles in the community, and  their conservation efforts.

Return to the lodge for lunch in the afternoon

We will head out for an evening game drive in Amboseli. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, which can often be seen with the iconic backdrop of Kilimanjaro if the mountain is clear. We will also search for other wildlife.

We will return to Kibo Safari Camp for dinner. We can enjoy a final evening under the stars, with the silhouette of Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Optional Activity: Similar to the Mara, Amboseli also offers an optional hot air balloon safari, providing stunning aerial views of the park's herds and the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro.

Morning: We will board our safari vehicles and depart to our Arusha for lunch cutting across Amboseli National Park crossing the border to Tanzania. We will cross to Arusha which is only 3 degrees south of the equator, 4,500-foot elevation encourages floral luxuriance and gentle airs. So we’ll be more or less surrounded by enthusiastic greenery at our lunch place, perhaps overlooking massive Mount Meru, a 14,977-foot volcanic colossus that looms beneficently over this quintessentially African city. After lunch we will drive to Tarangire arriving to Lake Burunge, we will get familiar with our lodge. With nine distinct vegetation zones ranging from grassland to woodland, from deep gully vegetation to scattered rocky hilltops, Tarangire offers a diverse geological landscape, as well as diverse wildlife-including the largest recorded concentration of breeding bird species in the world. Baobab trees dot the landscape, and the valley of the Tarangire River dominates the entire scene.

Morning: We drive to Tarangire National Park for a morning game- viewing drive. The variety of wildlife here is excellent, from lion, cheetah, zebra, and Cape buffalo to a wealth of birdlife. Elephants are plentiful here, traveling in large herds that are not often seen elsewhere in Africa. After several hours of game viewing, we shall enjoy our picnic lunch.

Lunch: We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

Afternoon: After lunch, we'll continue our game-viewing drive to witness the wildlife of Tarangire National Park. Afterwards, we'll head to our lodgings, a permanent tented camp in the midst of the wilderness.

Morning: We will drive to Mto Wa Mbu situated in the Great Rift Valley between Karatu and Makuyuni, home to around 18,000 people with a diversity of ethnic backgrounds-in fact, it is believed that this village is one of the only places in Tanzania where representatives from all 120 communities live in harmony. During our time here, we'll discover the importance of agriculture to this village, which is known for producing crops like the famous red banana. We'll also walk to the local market to peruse for various ingredients, which we will then bring with us to the home of a local farmer.

After our visit, we'll arrive at our lodge for lunch. After lunch, you'll have a couple of hours to settle into your room or start exploring on your own. Later this afternoon, our guide will take us on a walk through the village close to where our lodge is situated. We'll experience locals going about their daily routines.

Morning: Today's discoveries begin in Lake Eyasi, where we'll visit two lesser-known Tanzanian communities. First, we will experience the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer people in the world. The Hadza are also known for their unique 'click' language, which is believed to be one of the oldest languages still in use today. We'll also have the unique opportunity to explore the bush on foot seeking out bird, plants and animal species during our visit, and experience how life has changed little in more than 10,000 years for the Hadzabe. Then, we'll experience members of the Datoga tribe, who are thought to have migrated here from Cape Horn about 3,000 years ago. Skilled farmers and craftsmen, the Datoga are also known for the circular scarification patterns on their faces added for beautification purposes.

Morning: We begin our drive to the Crater in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, we descend for some game-viewing in the crater floor. This caldera marks the ancient walls of a collapsed 2,000 feet. The crater's rim is 7,500 feet above sea level, the highest altitude we reach on our journey.

Lunch: A picnic lunch in the crater.

Afternoon: Our experienced driver-guides, who are experts at locating the animals, determine our route as we exit the Crater and make our way back to our lodge. If lucky, you may spot various animals on the way out.

Morning: We will have a relaxed breakfast and depart for game drives around 08:00 AM to Serengeti with packed lunch. We will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today as we move towards our camp. This region offers a variety of resident game such as zebras, topi, gazelle, buffaloes, leopards, lions and other species.

Afternoon: A picnic lunch will be enjoyed today. Based on the time of your arrival you will be able to spend a few hours doing game drive. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night's rest in your adventurous tent.

Early Morning: Early risers are welcome to join our optional Sunrise Safari & Hot Air Balloon tour. An early wakeup call will be rewarded with a pre-dawn game-viewing drive on safari vehicles on your way to the hot- air balloon-ride, which offers a new perspective of the Serengeti and the creatures that call it home.

Breakfast: For travelers on the optional tour, a full breakfast will be served with sparkling wine under the shade of an acacia tree following your balloon ride. Breakfast is at the main dining tent for all other travelers.

Afternoon: After some free time, we'll set off for more game-viewing.

Morning: Continue to explore the ecosystem of the Serengeti aboard our safari vehicles. Our schedule and approach to our game-viewing drives is designed to maximize our understanding of this region and its inhabitants: We'll travel at a pace (and at times) that allow us to truly focus on observing animal behavior and interaction.

Lunch: Somewhere In The Wild

Afternoon: This is a great opportunity to seek out any animals we may have missed, and to ask any lingering questions to our Trip Leader or driver-guides.

Morning: Enjoy a full-day of game-viewing as we make our way to other parts of Serengeti National Park, perhaps one of the most famous wildlife-viewing spots in the park. Masses of wildlife roam the Serengeti, which stretches over 5,700 miles of plains, riverine bush, and acacia woodland, with savanna grassland as the dominant environment.

Lunch: Enjoy a boxed lunch within the park.

Afternoon: We'll resume our game-viewing drive seeking out the wide range of wildlife species that call the Serengeti home. Lion, cheetah, hyena, and jackal stalk herds of gazelle, zebra, wildebeest, and impala.

Dinner: At the camp.

Morning: We'll say goodbye to the Serengeti and fly to Arusha, where we'll visit Shanga, a local enterprise that employs people with physical disabilities. In this workshop, our small group will meet with locals, learn the basics of sign language, and see how these artisans come together to create unique, artisanal gifts. After our visit, we'll enjoy the services of a day room at out lodge in Arusha.
